The team of horsepower fanatics at Hennessey Performance have released a video of a 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE equipped with their HPE750 package running through a series of dyno tests. A stock 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE is a stout machine, producing an even 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque from the same supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 found under the hood of the C7 Corvette Z06.
On the dyno, a stock ZL1 lays down 567 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 542 lb-ft of torque at 4,650 rpm, according to Hennessey. These are solid numbers on their own, however with addition of the Hennessey package, owners can expect to find gains of 94 horsepower and 154 more torques. Hennessey say their HPE750 produces 661 horsepower and 696 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.
The HPE750 kit for the ZL1 includes:
• Hennessey pulley upgrade
• High-flow air induction system
• Long-tube stainless steel headers
• Stainless steel midpipes
• High flow catalytic converters
• All necessary gaskets & fluids
• HPE engine management calibration
• Dyno tuning & road testing
• Limited edition 1 of 500 interior plaque
• Hennessey exterior badging
• Hennessey premium floor mats
The 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE is a track weapon straight from the factory, and we have to imagine that adding nearly a hundred horsepower under the driver’s right foot only makes this machine more insane. The team at Hennessey doesn’t stop with the HPE750 package either, as they now offer a Dodge Demon rivaling HPE1000 kit. This package, known as the Exorcist, brings a ZL1 up to 1,000 horsepower and 883 lb-ft to the wheels.
All Hennessey kits are professionally installed at the Hennessey Headquarters in Sealy, Texas, and every car is backed by a three year or 36,000 miles warranty.
