When you think of the MCE British Superbike Championship, Vauxhall wants you to think commercial vehicles. That’s because the brand has officially partnered with the 2017 MCE British Superbike Championship to become the official commercial vehicle of the motorbike event.
With the partnership, a total of six Vauxhall vans will be used support both on and off-track for the event- four Movano and two Vivaro vans. Decked out in a special Vauxhall support vehicle livery, the brand invited riders Billy McConnell and James Rispoli, from Team Quattro Plant FS-3 Kawasaki, to take delivery of the vehicles.
“We are delighted to welcome the Vauxhall brand to the series. The fleet will help with on track logistics and we can’t wait to get the season underway in just over a week at Donington Park,” MCE British Superbike Championship Series Director, Stuart Higgs, said.
You can catch a glimpse of the Vauxhall vans during the first race of the season at Donington Park beginning on March 31.

Vauxhall made the odd motorbike, testing the water for two wheels just before GM takeover in 1925. Would be nice to see a range of VXR bikes ranging from 600cc to 1000cc with a couple of sporty looking 125’s for first time riders. It would make sense for GM to buy out a established motorbike firm (there’s plenty out there), if only to get CAFE regs lowered (such as Audi do with Ducati).
We need the Vans more for North America then we need the bikes.
