The Chevrolet Colorado has received a new, range-topping variant for Thailand. Inspired by its black accent package, this is the Chevrolet Colorado High Country Storm.
Revealed ahead of its public debut at the 38th Bangkok International Motor Show, the Colorado High Country Storm builds upon the luxurious amenities found in the Colorado High Country but adds flair to the overall exterior appearance. Specifically, a sport bar, 18-inch alloy wheels, door handles, a tailgate handle, outer belt molding and a rear bumper are all finished in black to offset the striking blue hue.
Speaking of this blue, the color seen here will reach production as “Blue Me Away” for all Colorado variants, not just the Storm.
As per the usual with the Colorado High Country, premium features such as front-park assist, rain-sensing wipers, Apple CarPlay and more all included with the new Storm package. Power still comes from the same 2.5-liter Duramax four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, producing 180 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic is the only way to shift gears, but customers may choose from two- and four-wheel drive.
Chevrolet will announce pricing at the Bangkok Motor Show, which begins on March 29, 2017.
