Opel took to Berlin, Germany to reveal its latest crossover, the Crossland X. Despite an overall booming market for crossovers, Opel has one key demographic in mind with its latest vehicle: women.
Opel executives are expected to win over more women with the Crossland X, according to a report from Automotive News.
“Women love it because we like the high seating position and the OnStar 24-hour concierge service, which lets you book a hotel when you’re driving,” Tina Müeller, Opel CMO, said.
Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann added the Crossland X is “specifically liked by women,” according to market research conducted by the brand.
It’s also the first of seven new vehicles to launch during 2017, with the C-segment, Opel Grandland X coming at a later date to begin rounding out Opel/Vauxhall’s CUV portfolio.

Yes. Every GM owner I know raves about OnStar. Or really not even one.
