During the first ever SEMA convention 50 years ago, there were only 92 companies in attendance. At the 2016 show, there were about 2,400 exhibitors and over 100,000 attendees. Needless to say, SEMA has come a very long way. And its partnership with Chevrolet has acted as a catalyst in this growth,.
As the host in the video explains, the Chevrolet-SEMA partnership has led to great collaboration within the industry as a whole. Moreover, it’s led to the creation of some pretty amazing cars. Just this year we’ve seen stellar builds, including the Camaro Auto-X Concept, the Silverado High Desert Concept, the Chevelle Slammer, and much more.
Of course, we’ve only mentioned a few of the Chevrolet cars that were on display at SEMAÂ this year. There was plenty to be seen at the show, including Ford and Fiat Chrysler products.
