Chevrolet is hoping for Model T like moment with the 2017 Bolt EV. With an estimated range of 200 miles on a single charge, and a price under $30,000 after help from Uncle Sam, this could be a true, mass-market electric vehicle.
Along with the reveal of the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV, the brand also uploaded a brief video introduction for the EV. Chevy highlights the overall efficiency motif with the 2017 Bolt EV here, and also gives us a closer look at the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
We think the dimensions of the 2017 Bolt EV really lend itself to the masses. There’s plenty of room inside for storage, it seats five and it has compact-crossover looks that have helped move so many Buick Encores and Chevy Trax. But, we digress.

Chevrolet’s new 2016 Malibu Hybrid uses some of the battery technology of the Volt so the Malibu can achieve about 48 miles-per-gallon mileage because of it’s battery which allows the Malibu to cruise at low-speed; this caused me to think whether bits of the Bolt could be used in a Tahoe SUV to achieve 30+ mileage.
