112 Year-Old Cadillac Cruises In Bonhams London To Brighton Veteran Car Run: Video

It’s remarkable to see a machine built in 1904 still operating today, over a century later. This 1904 Cadillac Model B has faced the test of time (with the help of a restoration or two), and condition wise it looks as good as new.

The vintage Cadillac was revived so that it could be used to take part in the Bonhams London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, the longest running automotive motoring event in the world. To take part in the 60 mile dash down a highway in inclement weather from the capitol of the U.K. to the seaside town you just need a car from 1905 or prior.

From the outside, it may seem silly to stand around in the rain as century-old cars tinker-n-tanker along the highway. But to car enthusiasts, this is a fun time catching a special (unusual) site and a remembrance of what our passion has evolved from – from what you see in this video, to the latest creations like the Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V.
