A couple of Chevrolet superstars were in on the fun drifting that was going down during LS Fest. Both the Chevrolet C6 Corvette and fourth-gen Chevrolet Camaro certainly stood out in this style of motorsport, but the Corvette seemed to hold it together better, and looked great doing so. We wouldn’t say the Camaro did poorly, it just wasn’t as spectacular as the Vette.
There were many LS-swaps present for the event at Beech Bend Raceway. Of course there were your typical Nissan 240 swaps, along with one bad ass Beemer, and even an LS-swapped 350 Z. Seeing all the action makes us want to jump into a drift-rocket of our own and pretend to be Ryan Tuerck. This is something that complicates the love-hate relationship between those who own front-wheel drive sports compacts and their peppy rides – like this Cobalt SS, for instance. If you happen to be one of the many who fall under that category – or just love you some drifitin’ action – prepare to feast your eyes on the video above.
