Cadillac Holds Firm On 2016 SRX Pricing Across The Board

Those looking for a 2016 SRX will be happy to know Cadillac has opted not to raise MSRP one bit.

In fact, the front-wheel drive model starts at $38,600 (plus $995 destination charge), the exact same price as the 2015 Cadillac SRX. Meanwhile, a 2016 Cadillac SRX equipped with all-wheel drive will start at $47,130 (including destination), which again reflects no price increase over the MY15 vehicle.

Even the top-of-the-line 2016 Cadillac SRX Premium, which starts at $52,725, can be had for the same price as a ’15. We also have a full write-up of a complete list of 2016 Cadillac SRX content broken down for you.

It’s a fitting send-off for the five-year-old SRX, though we admit we can’t wait to see its replacement, the new Cadillac XT5, as the auto show season ramps up once again.

  1. It still sells. And like the Lexus RX, it’s popular with the ladies.

  2. If they can hold the line on sales volumes while keeping the same prices for a vehicle in it’s last model year before a complete remodel then it’s a win.

  3. The modern station wagon- known as a CUV. I know they sell and are practical but again….still a lame-ass ride.
especially with such killer cars in the line up as the ATS, CTS & XTS this is the main seller. unreal.

    1. I have 3 cars a 2014 CTS4 3.6 Luxury Sedan, a 2011 Corvette Grand Sport and a 2012 SRX Performance Edition. I believe I have the best of all worlds. When I want Luxury or when we’re going out with another couple, the CTS is the ride of choice, when I’m traveling to a car event or just feel like a sporty run, the Corvette Grand Sport is my preferred ride and when I need to buy stuff at the pool store or Home Depot the SRX is the way to go. Every car has a purpose. The SRX is practical car that is good at just about everything…it looks good, it drives well and it has plenty a room in back for the stuff home owners buy on a regular basis. LAME-ASS Ride…I don’t think so. If you think it a “Lame-Ass Ride” you’ve probably never owned or driven one. I think if you took one for a test drive you’d be pleasantly surprised.

  4. No reason to discount. Sales have been good and the discounts will come in the summer next year when they move this one out for the new model.

Gino with the profits this brings and with the demand of the consumer there is nothing lame. People like these and because of the sales and profits it keeps cool cars like the ATS and CTS viable.

To be honest with the new CTS, ATS and CT6 the XTS has now moved to the lame ass status.

  5. Got a real chuckle on a flyer received from my dealership touting they “need” for my 2014 ATS, even going so far as to state they would make every attempt to get leaseholders out of their leases without penalty fees etc.

What was amusing was the back of the folder(sent from program headquarters) featuring a picture of the “All-New 2016 Cadillac SRX. After I stopped laughing, I looked again to make sure it didn’t say all-new 2012!

Will be incentives on the SRX sooner rather than later. Will be pretty much like 2015 where it had incentives on almost constantly! Replacements can’t get here soon enough.

  6. The SRX has been the money maker for Cadillac . Even 5 years into it and it still outsells some of the newer cars . It just shows that the majority of the buyers are happy with it . As am I ! Really no reason to raise the price , nothing new added to it and It will be the only model left withe the old wreath and crest . I have a ’12 model and I am going to wait till spring and buy a Premium edition when the dealerships want to rid their lots of the old and make room for the XT5 .
