National Corvette Museum Breaks Ground On Holley Control Tower At Motorsports Park

Although the National Corvette Museum has held more than a few track events at its Motorsports Park, that hasn’t held it back from constructing a plethora of support buildings for the track. As we reported earlier, the NCM Motorsports Park was preparing to break ground on the latest edition: a Holley sponsored control tower and event center.

The ground breaking ceremony took place today, as crews geared up to construct the 12,600 square-foot space, which will house meeting and classroom spaces, a lobby and retail area, a catering kitchen, reception office, administrative offices and the race control room. The second story of the structure will also have an open-air viewing deck plus a winner’s circle podium.

The ceremony took place today, and comes while crews continue construction on a new pavilion and Mobil 1 sponsored fueling station.

The Motorsports Park is becoming a true shrine for those of the Corvette faithful, and we can’t wait until it comes together.
