If you haven’t heard about the Midnight Edition Package for the 2015 Cadillac CTS sport-luxury sedan, you’re missing out. That’s because the optional $1,095 package takes the already great-looking midsize sedan, and makes it look even better. The Midnight Edition Package includes:
- Black DLO window moldings
- Black chrome grille
- 18″ dark premium painted aluminum wheels
- Sueded microfiber steering wheel
- Sueded microfiber shifter
For the 2015 CTS Sedan, the Midnight Edition Package is available with Performance or Premium trim levels, and only with four exterior colors and three interior color combinations:
Exterior Colors
- Cocoa Bronze Metallic
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Phantom Gray Metallic
- Black Raven
Interior Color Combos
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Light Platinum with Jet Black accents
- Jet Black with Morello Red accents
Notably, all of the equipment on the package is also available as a genuine Cadillac accessory, but the Midnight Package is a much better value than buying each accessory separately.
We took the liberty of equipping a Crystal White Tricot 2015 CTS with the Midnight Edition package to give you an idea of how it looks like. We have no idea why Cadillac isn’t telling the whole world about this sweet-looking package, and showing more of it to dealers, customers, and the world via commercials.

These things are well, buyers like to have a more personalized and unique, how much better car.
Cadillac should offer more styles of personalization.

In checking this out online It looks that with this package WHTE DIAMOND TRICOAT PAINT ($995) IS OFFERED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. Makes this package a no-brainer if you are going that route.
The front end on the new CTS, with the fluorescent headlamps, is hot. Everything else, not so much.
I think the V2 CTS is still the best looking in the series.
So unique and distinctive. Nothing else like it on the road!
You are wrong Mayfair; Cadillac always used this style of headlamps and Tail lamps

It does make you scratch your head wondering where is the marketing for Cadillac . I havent seen a commercial for the ATS or CTS in months . They have a huge inventory of these so you would think you’d see something on tv . Escpecially this new option . We are coming close to the end of this model year and if Cadillac doesnt start moving these cars you’re going to see a fire sell to clean the lots of these cars . That doesn’t look well for a division that is trying to re-invent itself .
While I agree marketing has been piss poor you have to realize the first of the new Marketing just started about a month ago. They laid down the ground work with the Dare advertising and each model will build off of this. I expect the ATS V and CTS V will be used next to generate some excitement to the line and they will tie it in with the V sport etc.
The First goal for the new marketing is to give Cadillac a message and slogan that can set the tone then they substantiate it with product and show where they are what they have to offer and where they are going.
This is not advertising like we are used to seeing where none of it is connected to each model. This is a full on approach and we will see more soon.
I think one of the issues is Cadillac has decided to offer this package in RWD only. None of the dealers that experience snowy winters are going to order any unless they have a deposit first.
I have a 2014 Cadillac ATS AWD turbo with the Performance Trim. I upgraded to 18 inch wheels. My partner has a 2014 Infiniti Q50 S trim AWD. Although to me the Cadillac has superior handling, the S trim Infiniti looks better. The S version came with 19 inch wheels with stunning black rims. I’m not sure why Cadillac doesn’t include more discernible exterior differences on their trims. The base cars are stunning. When customers decide to upgrade to the higher models, I want to see more visible differences (i.e. standard 18 or 19 inch wheels, unique rims, more powerful engine and other easily identifiable accessories). Because I really like the car, I’m hoping they will make the trim levels appear different. I also hope they immediately offer 19 inch wheels standard on the higher level CTS. I’m due for a new vehicle in 2017.
