General Motors held its Dealer of the Year awards yesterday to recognize its best of the best across the United States. Out of the 4,300 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers, 123 were selected to the 2014 Dealer of the Year award.
The award honors dealers’ superlative performance in sales, service and customer satisfaction.
“The Dealer of the Year program honors our dealer partners who have done an exceptional job toward our collective goal of earning customers for life,” GM CEO Mary Barra said. “We salute these outstanding Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers for all they do for our customers, their communities and our company.”
To break down those 123 dealers, 63 Chevrolet, 19 Buick, 20 GMC and 21 Cadillac dealers were recognized for going above and beyond in sales and customer service, something ever important in moving product.
“We are proud of these dealers who have gone the extra mile to deliver a superior customer experience,” said Alan Batey, president, GM North America. “This award symbolizes outstanding performance in both customer satisfaction and consistent sales growth.”
The GM Dealer of the Year ceremony has recognized dealers since 2000.

Not going to list a few names and cities of the top performers of each class, for our own info sake?
Lord I hate to be picky , but please have someone in the publicity department screen the photos before insert into the media , like the one above . Talk about disinterested , somber , with each person looking in a different direction . Looks to me as if someone had separate pics of each person and blended the three together . One of the biggest vehicle manufacturers in the world and this is the best it can do , here ?? Mary Barra is recognizable and named in the article , but don’t you think the blurb could have been decent and identify/name the other people in the photo….or don’t they deserve one ??
