Opel’s latest “Oh!” ad campaign is kind of like watching the “That’s Not a Buick!” ads in a parallel universe. That universe being Europe, while also featuring a German super-duper model going by the name of Claudia Schiffer. The ads subtly poke at the brand’s entry-level cache, promoting multiple premium features that go virtually unheard of in conventional segments. Especially small-car segments, that the all-new Opel Corsa competes in.
The quick 36-second advertisement below features a model on the phone with the lovely Claudia, listening to her describe her new car’s features, such as a heated steering wheel and the ability to park itself. When the name “Opel” was revealed after the question of what type of car it was, the dolled-up model is left in a mild state of shock. “Oh.”
