Chevy’s “Holiday Message” Benefitting United Way

General Motors’ Chevrolet brand is continuing its philanthropic efforts this holiday season with a cheery video message to share on social media; for every Facebook or Twitter share that the video garners, Chevrolet will donate $1 to United Way (up to $500,000).

United Way of America is a non-profit with a wide breadth of interests, but a main focus on partnering at the local level to improve the education, health, shelter, and overall well-being of communities across the United States. Chevrolet and the GM Foundation have long supported United Way in their endeavors.

Chevrolet U.S. Marketing Vice President Paul Edwards said of the holiday message: “The holiday season is a time for thankfulness and a time to help those less fortunate. We hope social media users will take a moment to share the spirit of giving with their friends and family while helping United Way.”

Chevrolet’s generous holiday message can be seen – and shared – below.
