Cadillac has announced its 2015 ATS Coupe will start at 194,000 AED when it goes on sale in the Middle East this December. The luxury automaker first brought the ATS to the region in sedan form for the 2014 model year and experienced immediate success, particularly among young Middle Eastern car buyers.
The same young buyers will be even more interested in the ATS Coupe, which Cadillac unveiled earlier this year at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The ATS Coupe is a little longer, lower and wider than the sedan, making it appear even more performance-focused than its four-door peer.
Cadillac says the ATS Coupe was “designed to be lighter, more agile and more engaging than its competitors,” attributes which it hopes will help the ATS steal some market share from BMW and Mercedes-Benz in the Middle East. For now, only a 3.6-liter V6 engine will be available in the ATS Coupe in the region, although it seems likely more options could be added down the line if the initial response to the car is positive.
