Not long ago, we saw video which all but confirmed that the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V’s power plant will be supercharged V8, despite some reports suggesting it would be a twin-turbocharged mill. The CTS-V was seen accelerating hard down a straight section of track at the Nurburgring in Germany, its supercharger whining louder than a toddler that was brought grocery shopping against his will. Today we bring you more footage of the CTS-V testing at the ‘Ring, and one thing is forsure, its supercharger hasn’t gone anywhere.
Much like in the video we saw yesterday of the smaller ATS-V at the Nurburgring, the test driver appears to be holding nothing back when driving the CTS-V prototype, diving into corners dangerously fast, braking late and accelerating hard. The footage also gives us some good glimpses at the CTS-V’s aggressive aero, which appears to include a huge front splitter, side skirts, an aggressive rear diffuser with integrated quad-exhaust tips and a pronounced rear decklid spoiler.
The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, along with the ATS-V, should make its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. But seeing the recent footage of these two bombing around ‘The Green Hell’ at full chat is making us even more antsy than we already were. We’ll all have to wait patiently for the arrival of these two super sedans, so in the meantime, the video below will have to do.

Yahoo dude. I still like it.
Too bad there won’t be a CTS-V coupe. Oh well.
There will be!
It’s enough with the CTS-V sedan, the most important thing for GM to sell well is to offer more engine choices in their models
I have much desire to know the new batch of V-Cars
