Back in April Hennessey Performance Engineering outlined their plans for adding performance upgrades to the 2015 Cadillac Escalade. Their tuning program for the full-size luxury SUV included installing a high-flow supercharger, a new intercooler and a remapped software system to bump output from 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque to a more muscly 557 horsepower and 542 lb-ft of torque.
As, expected, HPE made good on their word. They’ve been hard at work developing the supercharger system for the new Escalade, and recently threw the vehicle on the dyno where it produced 448 horsepower 467 lb-ft directly at the rear wheels. The supercharger was pushing out just 6 psi during the dyno runs, so we’re assuming HPE left a lot of meat on the bone for future tuning projects too.
Hennesey’s supercharged Escalade may just be the fastest known fourth-gen Escalade around and to our eye, the black rims and Radiant Silver Metallic paint finish look pretty good too. Check out the video of it in action below and visit Hennessey’s website for more information.
