$750,000 In Inventory Lost In Houston Cadillac Dealership Fire

Early this morning a fire broke out at the Tom Peacock Cadillac dealership near Houston, TX, destroying almost $1 million worth of Cadillac Escalades.

According to the Houston Chronicle‘s website, a traffic accident started the chain of events, with a motorist hitting a utility pole after being rear-ended by another driver. The pole in turn fell over, sparked the blaze, and ignited the Escalades. Several other Cadillac sedans suffered minor damage.

Police said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
