Revised 2015 Cadillac ATS Sedan, ATS Coupe Spied On The Road

Some of you may have noticed that Cadillac has made some slight visual changes for the XTS Twin-Turbo for the 2014 model year. It seems that similar changes are in store for the Cadillac ATS, come the 2015 model year, based on recent spy photos published on Motor Trend’s website. As a bonus, an ATS Coupe was also present.

Specifically, the front grille of the 2015 ATS seems to be undergoing some changes, with less chrome and clutter this time around — just like the XTS TT. We’re not sure what’s going on in the cabin, but we’d bet that there’s a revised version of CUE in the center stack, hopefully with some more buttons this time around. And if we didn’t know any better, we’d say that the ATS Coupe is sporting a larger set of brakes than its four-door sibling. Is this an early look at the ATS VSport? It’s too early to tell, but we do expect the ATS Coupe to ditch the base 2.5L engine, but maintain the 2.0T and 3.6L V6 engines otherwise.

  1. Less chrome is a good thing, I think they should loose the chrome window trim too

    1. or at least offer a black option like on many of bmw’s m sport packages

  2. Already? Sounds like they’re listening to feedback from customers.

  3. Good! Please please let there be an 8-speed in the cards. From every review I read, it seems to be the major flaw with the car and CUE 2.0 needs to come as soon as possible

    1. I right there with you. Get the 8 speed, as of yesterday. Retune the exhaust system for a more masculine, mature sound. Offer an interior dressup option to cover all that black plastic. I bought one aftermarket and it looks great. Got the brushed aluminum trim matching the factory trim in my Performance Edition 3.6. Get some serious performance Michelin’s instead of those Primacy ZP’s.

  4. Here are my requests and I know gm will gladly respond:
    Revised cue interface
    Retuned 2.0L turbo
8 speed auto (or 9 speed) if it’s ready
Less black plastic on the interior
A little more rear seat room

  5. Seat room! I love this one! Let me guess back seat! Right? I’m guess you ride back there all the time? Then that leads me to ask if you spend so much time in the back seat why did you buy it in the first place? Most people who buy their cars drive them not ride around in the back!

The ATS is a amazing car these changes don’t make or break it, as for the cue it’s easy and simple if you know how to read the onwers manual and spend some time learning how to use it! It’s apparent some people don’t!

  6. I had a 2000 Audi A4 quattro. I waited two years for the ATS to finally go on sale. The foolish, not to say dangerous, CUE system eliminated it from consideration (and I own an iPhone, a Mac and an iPad.) The stunningly small trunk (my shorter Audi had 17 cu.ft. plus a full-sized spare and wheel that matched those on the ground), the lack of any spare tire, the excessive chrome on the front and the semi-hysterically-styled rear didn’t help.

    Maybe next time.

  7. So a spare tire something that will get used very little if not at all! How many times do you change a tire on the side of the road? Once a year maybe!

To much chome! At what point has that ever been a problem for Cadillac?

Small trunk again a part of the car that is used very little!

If these are the reasons for not buying this car tells me that there are more reasons

  8. The things that keep people from buying a car baffles me, 1 or 2 things about a car will keep them from making a purchase!

    It’s really sad!
