Wildfires didn’t stop GM engineers from giving their all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra full-sized pickups a decent helping of high altitude testing recently, where Edmunds Inside Line was able to get footage of a pair camouflaged mules trekking the roads of the Rockies.
While we have initially pinned the launch of the all-new Silverado and Sierra for spring of next year, Inside Line is reporting that the trucks will not launch until fall 2013 — just in time for football season. Because of this, the outlet forecasts the big unveiling to happen during the 2013 North American International Auto Show along with the all-new C7 Corvette.

Looks like a GMC, you can see a place to snap in the G and the C and a big chrome surround on the grill…
Actually, looks like one of each – the close-up is the GMC, but you can see the bar, similar to the 2012 Silverado LTZ, on some views.
The new trucks seem to have a more boxy look than the current models.
Any idea on the half-ton crew cab bed configuration? I want the 6.5′ bed in a crew cab without having to go to the 2500. The current 5.5′ crew cab bed is too short.
That is not Colorado, it is actually Fenton, MI.
