Some of you speed demons out there may have heard of Alex Roy, a New York City resident and current record holder of the transcontinental driving record across the United States with an unbelievable time of 31 hours and 4 minutes using a highly modified BMW M5. Adding to his resume, Roy has the fastest lap time around the island of Manhattan with a time of 27 minutes — or at least he did until only recently.
The video you will see before you showcases a pair of mystery men attempting — and succeeding — to break Roy’s record. Their car of choice? A Saturn Sky.

I am a resident of New York City. Using the public streets, with average drivers also using them, is a real hazard to public safety. These streets are not someone’s private race course. Little wonder there are so many fatal accidents involving drivers and pedestrians. These type of thing should not be condoned, but rather condemned!
