Replica Batmobile Registered As Ford Mustang Boasts Chevy Small-Block V8

For $675,000, this replica Batmobile “Tumbler” can be yours. Except, it’s registered as a 1968 Ford Mustang, listed as a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador and a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet small-block V8 powers the contraption. Confused yet?

Ford Authority first reported on the obscure listing, and the Batmobile emulates the Tumbler” seen in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy of Batman films: Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).

Aside from the Chevy V8 engine, the listing claims the replica car boasts a tubular frame and “over 25 percent aero-grade carbon fiber body panels and accent pieces.” Like the movie car, the rear features a dually rear end and the front axle is even hubless.

The builder also spared no expense in its recreation. Inside, three screen relay feeds from cameras in real time and the roof can actually be opened as well. And, if that isn’t enough, a pyrotechnic system can spew flames with the push of a button.

It may be the strangest Mustang we’ve ever seen, but it looks like there’s something here for everyone to appreciate.

We all know, brian. You won’t ever shut up about it. It’s like you have autism.

        1. Why don’t you see a doctor instead. You live (virtually) inside a corporation and expect it to isolate and protect you, and seem to shun any kind of established relation with real people.

Behaviour like that is severally damaging to your mental health. GM does not care about Brian Ritter personally, and they don’t care what you think of them in an elevated place in your mind.

GM is a corporation, and like all corporations, they care most about satisfying their shareholders.

          You’re not a shareholder of GM, you’re just end-consumer.

Rather than admit that is what you are with no real ability to control or direct the affairs of GM, you’re masking your end-consumer relation with GM as ‘loyalty’ when what you really mean to say is ‘corporate worship’ because you haven’t be able to maintain stable relationships with others and elevating GM in the way you have give you a sense of structure and orderliness.

Corporate worship is disgusting and is no different than a rabid Apple fanboy. GM is not going to pat you on your head like a dog, and if you’re looking for that kind of reward and validation from GM, then you need professional help.

          1. You think my love affair with GM is strange? Well let me ask you something, do you have a favorite football team, basketball team, baseball team and so on?

So if you asked a person who is a die hard new York Yankees fan would you ever be a red Sox fan? I think you would get a similar reaction as I do about GM!

And this example can be redone over and over for every team in sports and you will get the same results.

So then explain to me why are people allowed to be die hard sports teams fans but not die hard corporation fans?

See there is nothing wrong with my head, actually I think in more of a normal sense then most people Do!

Like I said before you pick your team, company, and you stick with it threw good times and bad!

            1. Actually, I don’t have any favourite teams because I don’t care about professional sports. Anything that’s sucking money out of you (such as buying sports merch) for no tangible benefit is almost always a waste.

But lets humour you. Yes, It’s entirely possible for some to be both a fan of the Yankess and the Bo-sox.

Yes, it’s not impossible for someone to be a fan of both teams, even if they are playing each other.

“So then explain to me why are people allowed to be die hard sports teams fans but not die hard corporation fans?”

But there is something wrong with someone who is a die-hard sports team fan as well as there is something wrong with a die-hard corporation fan. The problem they both share is that they’ve put their love for their team/corporation above those of their own interpersonal relations.

I bet you’d kill you own child or your mother if you found them behind the wheel of a Ford or Honda, wouldn’t you? Disowning them isn’t enough, they need to suffer for their disloyalty, right?

Man, you’d fit right into North Korea with no problem.

              1. If you think there is something wrong with being a die hard fan of anytyhing then you are the one that’s delusional!

As for my family, my parents own GM vehicles, my wife owns GM vehicles, and my kids are not old enough to own their own cars yet.

As for personal relationships I have a very small group of family and friends that I pay attention to the other people can go pound sand!

Look I like what I like because it makes me happy.

Being a die-hard fan of anything leads to fanaticism and ignorance. You’re already there, and you’re the kind of person who would excuse a public figure, athlete, or celebrity of a crime they committed with your apologetic gymnastics; all in a vain and fruitless effort to remain ‘loyal’ when someone or something has shown to be corrupt or unjust.

You’re like that loser Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf, the Iraqi information minister who tried to remain ‘loyal’ to Saddam when it was obvious that Saddam no longer had control of Iraq; always trying to convince the media that everything was okay, but too stupid to admit that it was over.

That’s your kind of loyalty; headless and stupid with no self preservation or dignity.

And I don’t believe you have kids or a wife. No on would ever mate with you with that kind of one-dimensional attitude.

This coming from someone who thinks he should be rewarded for owning only GM vehicles for decades and from someone who keeps saying he “could care less”.

No, I really do think you have some form of mild autism. Nobody without autism would confuse loyalty with any sense of pride in being an end-consumer; an end consumer of a mass-produced product at that.
