Detroit, Michigan is preparing for an influx of Corvettes ranging from all generations, as the annual “Corvettes In The ‘D'” meeting is quickly approaching. The annual event will be held this weekend and will once again benefit veterans of the United States armed services and those currently serving.
The two specific charities for the event supports will be Veterans Outreach Project of Southeast Michigan, and Operation Care Package Michigan.
Specifically this year, the Z06 variant of Corvette will highlighted across each generation as the event chooses a different model Corvette each year. It should be a prime time to see those lucky enough to have gotten a hold of a C7 Corvette Z06 come out for a great cause.
Additionally, the organizers plan seminars by the Corvette Mechanic, and different vendor displays for attendees to visit in the midst of the Corvette chaos. If being amongst hundreds of Corvettes isn’t enough, goodie bags, a commemorative plaque and a special booklet will be given to all that attend the event.
