The not-for-U.S.-shores Chevrolet Trailblazer is successfully being sold in many different markets across the globe, including Thailand, Africa, and Australia (as the Holden Colorado 7). And now, you can add the African country of Zimbabwe as a new favorite market for the mid-size SUV.
Trailblazer sales in Zimbabwe were up 25 percent in 2014 compared to 2013, giving the SUV a 31 percent marketshare in the landlocked African country situated square in the middle of Africa. According to General Motors South Africa Vice President of Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing, Brian Olson, the Trailblazer’s astounding success can be attributed to having the right product, in the right market, at the right time, sold by the right people.
“This exponential growth can largely be factored down to having the right product for the market, retailed through our dedicated Autoworld dealer partners who are committed to provide customers with outstanding customer service,” said Olson.
Based on the global Colorado midsize pickup truck, the Trailblazer offers buyers a choice of turbo-diesel and gasoline engines driving either the rear or all four wheels, ensuring that there is a Trailblazer nearly anyone and everyone. The midsize SUV also benefits from such creature comforts as cruise control, multi-function leather steering, all-round electric windows, eleven cup holders and four power sockets. What’s more, each Trailblazer has a three-year/100,000 km (62,0000-mile) bumper-warranty as standard.

Should this be “driving either the rear OR all four wheels?”
Yes, that’s what we meant. Thanks for noticing. Fixed.
Still not sold in North Africa and Algeria especially. Even the Colorado became a re badged d-max. That’s weird
I’m happy to see that I am not the only one hoping for a new blazer from GM. Give us what we want GM!!! And for the love of god, give us turbo 4 cylinder options mated to an 8 or 9 speed transmission. No more 6 speeds.
