Now, before we launch into a rather humorous account of this Chevrolet Camaro owner’s rather unfortunate day at the beach, we have to preface by saying that we do not wish to see any hate-filled vitriol in the comments section below. That would be adding insult to injury; clearly, this guy had a bad enough day as it is.
That said, what an epic fail! The video below shows a good Samaritan Jeep owner attempting to tow a new Camaro out of a wet, sandy beach after the owner reportedly decided to use the pony car to haul and unload a jet ski.
This video was shared by Speed Society, who suspect that this quite wet, sandy Camaro was likely ruined by the stunt. We concur, and add that it’s one of the most needless and tragic ways to write-off a car that we have ever heard. Clearly, towing the jet ski to the beach on its trailer was not beyond the mechanical capabilities of the car; and clearly, unloading the recreation vehicle into the water should not have posed a risk.
That is, assuming that the owner had sought out a paved, designated unloading ramp. And not, you know, backed right into a soaked, sandy beach. Signs exist for a reason.

Wow! One of the most unsafe tows I’ve ever seen attempted.
Towing is serious business and should be left to the professionals.
I realize this guy was desperate for quick action, but what would have happened if that tow rope snapped with all of those bystanders?
They would have stood a better chance if the trailer was disconnected and the Camaro was placed in neutral with no driver inside.
And yes, that Camaro is likely going to turn up on a curbstoners lot somewhere near you.
My favorite part is where the owner gets out of the car after the Jeep tries pulling it out. And the trailer was still attached? When stuck, remove weight!!
Does that Jeep even have enough power to tow the Camaro?
