Vehicle valuation firm Kelley Blue Book has presented five different Chevrolet vehicles with its Best Resale Value Award for 2014. The Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette and Tahoe all topped their respective categories for best resale, while the Colorado and Silverado were among the top 10 cars with the best projected retained value after five years.
The Camaro has won the Sports Car category of KBB’s awards for four years in a row, beating out its crosstown rivals, the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger. This year also marks the second consecutive time the C7-generation Corvette has won the High Performance Car category.
KBB’s awards are based “on its own research and analysis focused on retained value over the first five years of ownership,” Chevrolet says. Winners are chosen in 22 different categories, with the top ten consisting of those vehicles which have retained the highest percentage of their MSRP.
