Chevrolet announced today that, along with the 2015 Colorado midsize pickup truck, it will announce new variants of the subcompact Sonic lineup at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The first is a Sonic RS sedan, essentially a three-box version of the athletic hatchback that’s been around for the past year or so. Second is the Sonic Dusk, which was previewed once as a SEMA concept last year, and announced for production days later.
So, no, there isn’t going to be a true Ford Fiesta ST fighter announced in the City of Angels. Yet, we do enjoy the variety.

I am so confused, this is supposed to be an aim towards a “luxury” version of the Sonic or something? When will GM get smart and bring the 1.6T over to the U.S.??
Any variation of the Sonic is far from Luxury, nor did this article mention anything about luxury. All they need to do is boost power output and give the Sonic RS an independent rear suspension.
Well, I know that! What makes the “Dusk” version so special besides a brown leather interior and 18′ rims?
