Hey all. New to the forum.
I own a 2018 GMC 1500 denali with the 6.2l, I am looking to see what everyone has done for upgrades for performance that I can do for less than 1k. From what I’m reading, seems like tuners, exhaust, and cold air intakes are my best options, but I’m wondering if some are better then others and work better specifically for this motor…
Looking at sct x4 tuner, but is there something better suited?
For cold air, seems like all sites are suggesting k&n but is that just because that’s the popular big name, or are they really the best?
Appreciate any suggestions… thanks
Go to GMC website, click on shopping, then click on accessories, put your VIN so you get the correct exhaust for your truck. GM does not have a air take because of emissions however K&N are outstanding but make sure they are legal for your state. Tuners, sorry, I’m no help. Just a heads up, for what you want to do you are going to spend more than 1k.
Thanks
I’m actually in Canada so no issues with Cai. But reading alot of mixed reviews of course… some claim waste of money, some claim they notice big difference…
Any type of fresh air package will help, same with the exhaust
Hordy, please post your updates and how they work out/
Well I didn’t get much feed back so not sure what direction I’m gonna go if at all. But if I do I will post
