For the last 4 decades I have purchased a GM product every other year or more and have always been very loyal to “my” brand. Last year I was suppose to rotate to a new Denali but couldn’t get what I always order. I thought no problem I will wait a little than normal till Fall and just order the new refreshed 2022 model – of course that has been pushed back to spring now. I cannot express how disappointed I have become in GM. My neighbor (he is a GM employee in financial) has been working from home for nearly two years now just got his replacement vehicle that GM provides him. It’s not him but I am so PO’d on this, my local dealer can’t order or locate what I want but GM is still giving free company pickups in his case to employees, just not every 3 months like in the past but he had to wait a whole 9 months for this one!!! ugh –
Such nonsense and he has been working from home since Feb of 2020….. The only consolation I have is this morning I was able to order a new F150 loaded like I wanted, I did not ever think I would drive F but I was amazed in how nice the interior and how big the screen was in my new truck (when it gets here)! As loyal as I was I am hoping there are others out there that are tired of this and gets the attention of someone who could do something about it but I am doubtful. GM is so worried about going electric and they can’t even get the chips now that they need… btw, I even looked at a goat and you won’t believe how nice a 1500 truck they make now too – at least I have options and the best thing is I don’t know anyone working for ram or ford and have to see them driving a new vehicle of their choice when I cannot even buy one (Oh and thanks for removing most of the rebates too)
