Overkill Racing And Chassis Working On Chevy C60 6×6 Build

A Utah-based shop called Overkill Racing and Chassis has unveiled a rendering for a unique Chevy C60-based 6×6 truck build that it is currently working on.

These renderings, which were shared by Overkill Racing and Chassis on Instagram this week, will serve as a guide for the shop’s builders as they work to make the custom 6×6 Chevy C60 a reality over the course of the coming months. The shop is also using these renderings to help decide which color to paint their truck once it’s complete and is teetering between either red, black, teal or silver.

Details on this build are slim, but Overkill Racing and Chassis says the truck will ride on a full tube chassis. The renderings also show a custom six-door cab section, which will likely be made by welding separate Chevy C-series cabs together, along with flared-out fenders and large chrome six-lug wheels wrapped in slim low profile tires. Overkill Racing and Chassis says they want to eventually offer a full tube chassis for Chevy C10 pickups, so this over-the-top build will help with the development of that customer-ready chassis.

This build would be a hit at the SEMA Show, but the builder knows it won’t be ready in time for this year’s edition of the annual custom car event. They jokingly tagged the Instagram post with #SEMA2030 – likely a tongue-in-cheek reference to how long they believe this rather extreme build will take to complete. A six-door, 6×6 truck may seem a bit extreme, but then again, the shop’s name is Overkill Racing and Chassis, so we get the feeling they are all about excess.

It may be a while before this Chevy C60 build is actually complete, but we can’t wait to see the results.

  1. That is the most country directly below the U.S. thing I have ever seen.

  2. Go totally different. White with copper accents. I saw a Silverado with a huge lift and he did the wheels and various areas of the truck in copper, but still keeping it white. Looked very sharp!! Don’t run with the crowd. Stand alone and be different. That’s what I did with my 2020 Sierra. I like to walk alone lolol have a good day!!🙂

  3. It is clearly shown with 10-lug semi-truck style wheels not 6-lug wheels.

  4. Personally, I’d like to see a couple feet of air between the rocker panel and ground. And more tire, less rim.

    1. I like lifted purposeful off road trucks and in my opinion a long concept truck like this is much better suited to be a low-slung cruiser than a lifted off roader.
