The latest fourth-generation Chevy Spark was introduced at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, with the 2019 model year ushering in a nameplate refresh (otherwise known as a mid-cycle enhancement, or MCE). Now, we’re taking a look at the 2021 Chevy Spark Special Edition models with the following photos.
First, a little background. The 2020 model year introduced three new “Special Edition” models for the Chevy Spark. The models profiled here are for 2021 model year, however, they are technically unchanged from the preceding 2020 model year.

Looks awesome, I love love love the two-tone treatment – adds a different dimension to the vehicle. GM needs to incorporate more of it and expand its color palette into more models across Chevy, Cadillac and Buick.
Interesting color combinations. Not only reserved for smaller CUVs. Good one by GM!
The Chevy Spark EV should return and keep the small EV market away from the imports . The power train can be copied from the Bolt EV with a lower range and price ($25,000 or less), so anyone with a low income can enjoy a U.S. brand EV that isn’t a Tesla.
GM how about throwing that new 3 cylinder turbo that’s in the new trailblazer in the chevy spark and call it the rs model. Instead of new colors, I promise you I would trade my current spark for that model. Also include a manual transmission and good gear ratios. 190hp 210tq !?!? 2300 pounds?!?!
How ’bout put some electric motors in too?
200hp?
300hp?
Been thinking about buying the wife one. I’ve heard they are good little cars. I’m a big vehicle person so this might trip my mind.
What about the sonic while it’s still around? It’s a fantastic little car imo. I bet there are some great deals on them right now.
Caribbean Blue and White.
What an interesting article for me personally. Three months ago I picked up a 2020 Spark 1LT Special Edition in the white/black. I was able to see all three colors before making my choice, and I can say that I (personally) didn’t like the blue/white or black/white combo. So white it was and so far I’m loving it. I have 1,850 miles and mostly city driving with a running average 30.3 MPG. Although I’m not a fan of CVT transmissions, I will admit this one drives differently than the ones I’ve experienced a few years ago. It holds the road at higher speeds well and is relatively quiet with a decent ride.
But the question posed was which color combo is the favorite: Like I said the white/black. However, I really wish they would offer this package in other colors as well. I really think the silver/black or the new mystic blue with black would look great. Also think they would be better off just offering the black contrasting color instead of the white. Lastly, I wish they would offer this “package” with the 2LT as well. The only regret I have is that I would prefer the upgraded leatherette seats, heated seats and leather wrapped wheel which the 2LT would add. Chevy, you listening?
I really like the Special Editions , but I hate the black wheels. I guess I’m just too old school. Can one be ordered with aluminum or chrome wheels?
I’m trying to find a part number for a black grille… I would love to put this black grille on my LT!
