This 1958 Rolls-Royce Hides An LS7-Sized Secret: Video

Keeping in theme with “LS swap all of the things” is this 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine. However, not just anybody built this luxurious sleeper, ICON did.

ICON tackled the project to turn this 1958 Rolls-Royce into a Derelict series car. What’s a “Derelict” car? Basically, ICON works the powertrain and suspension to create a modern vehicle, then puts the car back together like nothing has changed—it’s the ultimate sleeper.

The company brought their 1958 Rolls-Royce with LS7 power to Jay Leno’s Garage to give the car guru a closer look at the build, and Leno walked away impressed. While the Silver Cloud’s original inline-six engine produced around 200 horsepower on paper, it now makes roughly 550 hp paired to a modern chassis to ditch the floaty feelings the Silver Cloud once held so near and dear.

Not to mention, it sounds like no other Rolls-Royce we’ve ever heard before. Grab a closer look at the car in the video above.
