The work of Texas-based shop Late Model Racecraft has caught our eye before. Last month, we were blown away watching dyno-testing of a 1000-horsepower LMR C7, and before that, by an impressive quarter-mile sprint from an LMR C7 Z06.
Now, LMR has released this “teaser” video that gives viewers a sneak-peek at the “LMR C7Z” shop car – a C7 Z06 equipped with the 1,000 horsepower package.
In the video, we get a few shots of the blue ‘Vette parked, and later, cruising the street, but not enough to sate our appetites. A condensed list of some of the package’s components at the end of the video does answer some of our questions, though. The list includes an air-to-air ProCharger system, a head/cam package, a McLeod clutch, and an LMR fuel system.
We’ll give the video a generous B+ for quality and creativity, though we hope LMR allows us to see and hear more of this Corvette soon. Then again, the shop is only observing the golden rule of hype-building: “always leave them wanting more.”
Congrats, Late Model Racecraft; we want more.
