World Record Holding AMP C7 Corvette Z06 VS Underground Lamborghini Murcielago: Video

We recently took a gander at the exhaust system that Capristo offers for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Z06, which begged a comparison between the C7 Z06 and expensive exotics. And we find ourselves analyzing such a comparison yet again.

Here we have a tit-for-tat match-up between the world’s fastest Corvette Z06, built by Advanced Modern Performance, and the twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Murcielago built by Underground Racing. Both machines are incredibly fast, and we can’t imagine being unhappy with either one of them. The procharged AMP Z06 actually holds the record for the 1/4 mile with a 9.3 second pass, and just recently set the world record for the standing-mile.

But which one has what it takes to come out on top? We don’t want to spoil the outcome for you, but we’ll say this much: it’s pretty damn close, and in our opinion, it was a driver’s race.

Be sure to have your speakers on, as the times shown are misleading according to the announcer.

  1. The guy in the Lamborghini definitely had the better reaction time.
