Lingenfelter Brings 1967 Corvette 427 Coupe And C7 Corvette Z06 To NAIAS

Ken Lingenfelter graced the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) with his presence along with the presence of two very special Chevrolet vehicles; the 800 horsepower C7 Corvette Z06 built by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, and the 1967 Corvette 427 Coupe from the Lingenfelter Collection.

Ah, what we wouldn’t do for just 60 seconds behind the wheel of either vehicle. Those fortunate enough to attend the auto show were able to see the vehicles at the Robb Report Live studio on-site In an interview with Katrina Szish of Robb Report, Ken says that while the aftermarket focus has been primarily on twin-turbocharged engines, there’s still a lot of potential with superchargers.

Ken also praises the C7 Z06 for its remarkable looks, a point that seems to have almost been forgotten when talking about the C7 lately – perhaps the infatuation phase has passed for some, but we’re still drooling. After soaking in the lime light during the auto show, Ken is taking the C7 back to shop to complete a package that’ll raise the total power output to 850.
