Holden is a busy brand in the midst of introducing 24 new models by the year 2020. It seems we have our first look at the next introduction heading our way, courtesy of this brief clip uploaded by Holden.
Upon first viewing the video, it seems to be 15 seconds of nonsense, showing people fly drones and, just like that, the video is over. But, upon the second viewing, switching over to eagle eyes reveals the rear end of a hatchback vehicle in the very first frame.
Clearly the license plate reads Astra. The body-forming, angular tail-pipe design matches the current-generation Holden Astra VXR but, doubling down on the eagle eyed theme, a quick shot of the front end if visible at the 10 second mark of the video. The front headlight design here looks a bit different, unless it’s the lighting playing tricks on our eyes.
Could it be an even more hardcore Astra hatch? Possibly. Our gut says this is something a tad more substantial than merely a special edition like Holden has been rolling out recently, especially to go through all the trouble of teasing the Holden Astra like this. Let us know what you think it may be in the comments down below after taking a quick look at the video here.
