The only car to occupy the podium at last weekend’s ERC Junior Rally Ypres was the Opel Adam R2. Opel customer driver Aleks Zawada gave the automaker the overall win, with Opel ADAC works driver Marijan Griebel taking second and customer driver Julius Tannert taking third.
Due to their success at the rally, Opel put together a short 3-minute video highlighting some of the best moments from Ypres. Griebel was poised to take the win in Belgium and had a lead of over 36 seconds when he suffered a left-rear tire puncture, giving Zawada an easy first place.
Opel’s highlight video features interviews with both race winner Zawada and runner-up Griebel, along with some clips of the Adam R2 flying down the Belgian back roads in the tarmac rally.
