Livernois Pontiac G8 GT Can Be Heard All The Way Back In Australia: Video

We have a thing for the Pontiac G8. Scratch that, yours truly has a thing for the Pontiac G8, being a proud owner and all. Anyways, this grabbed our attention.

The 2008 and 2009 Pontiac G8 GT graced us with plenty of power from its L76 V8 engine, making a healthy 361 hp (where the 2009 dropped to 355 hp). But Livernois Motorsports worked their magic and found a little more power to be had with the help of a Magnuson supercharger, running a serious 11 pounds of boost, and various other performance goodies.

These guys know their stuff. They were able to pull 293 more horsepower out of the car with the help of their Stage 3 dyno tune skyrocketing the horsepower figure to 637 wheel-horsepower. The torque number also follows suit, increasing from 354 pound-feet to 630 pound-feet. GXP, who?

Sports sedans are the best of both worlds: blissful driving dynamics, and the functionality of four-doors and plenty of interior space to comfortably transport normal-sized human beings. Livernois surely knows the way to our hearts, though. As much fun as these cars are in their factory form, a little aftermarket help never hurt. In fact, as you can see, it only helps. And helps substantially.

Have a listen and a look at the Pontiac G8 doing its thing in the video down below.
