In a recent Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jimmy Fallon caught up with Jerry Seinfeld for “The Unsinkable Legend: Part 1.” The feature car is a Cascade Green 1956 Chevrolet Corvette with a 265 small-block with 240 horsepower backed by Chevy’s Powerglide automatic. It was built at a time when America could do no wrong.
“Why did people stop having fun?” they ask in unison as Fallon takes in this beauty. While on a jaunt, the comedians joke that riding in the Corvette feels like a set on location in Hollywood, with the scenery passing by − perhaps a Quentin Tarantino movie, if you will.
Of course, this “talk show that comes to your house and picks you up” is more about the conversation than about the car − the car is merely a vehicle (pun not intended) for coffee talk (again, pun unintended for you SNL fans) − but check it out below and see what two comedians have to say to each other, and be sure to stay for the bonus feature.

The 265 ci/240 hp engine with Powerglide had dual quads.
Seems that Seinfeld doesn’t know his Corvettes, and I shouldn’t have assumed he knew what he was talking about. Thanks for the correction.
