Opel Corsa Calendar Shoot Avec Un Chat, Behind The Scenes: Video

You may recall that a while back, we reported on a 2015 calendar shoot featuring a Birman cat named Choupette, and the new Opel Corsa.

Well, if you wanted to see the young, up-and-coming feline modeling professional at work, Opel released a “behind the scenes” video of the calendar shoot.

The cat belongs to photographer Karl Lagerfeld, who didn’t care to see yet another “supermodel-with-car” promotional calendar. Instead, he talked his Birman cat Choupette Lagerfeld into posing with the Corsa, inside and out, exploring every inch of the new car compelled by her characteristic feline curiosity.

Opel Chief Marketing Officer Tina Müller was present at the shoot. She remarked in a press release: “The beautiful Choupette posed like a true star. The behind the scenes videos gives unique and private insights into the creation this unusual calendar for an exceptional car.”

We feel like the playful while elegant Choupette Lagerfeld is the perfect photogenic counterpart for the new, very approachable Opel Corsa, and we can’t wait to see the finished 2015 Opel Corsa calendar.
