Kelley Blue Book got NASCAR racing legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. to climb into a Chevrolet Spark and offer his appraisal. Unfortunately for the viewer, KBB doesn’t make particularly good use of the driver’s unique set of skills in this video.
What Earnhardt does comment on is the spaciousness of the cockpit, calling it “very roomy, actually,” although he hardly threatens the upper limits of the driver’s seat capacity with his 5’11” stature. The back seat is slightly less accommodating, but the driver still comments that he can be planted in relative comfort with regard to legroom and headroom.
After getting a feel for cabin comfort, Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes Micah Muzio of KBB out on the road to get a feel for the Spark’s driving dynamics. His comments? Sparse, both positive and negative. Muzio and Earnhardt drive through the latter’s property, and discuss the numerous wrecked race cars that Dale has parked in the woods; the sort of commentary which really makes this much more of a fun, weekend drive with a NASCAR talent than a proper video review.
But hey, there’s nothing wrong with that. All things considered, Earnhardt rates the Chevrolet Spark a 9 out of 10, saying that the buyer knows what they’re getting with this car, and it doesn’t fail to deliver on its stated purpose. It’s too bad we can’t say the same about the video review.

Micah is annoying. Good video.
That Micah guy needs to shut up and let Dale Jr. talk. Man is he annoying for a host. Tuned out after 4 minutes.
