California-based automotive research firm AutoPacific has released the results of its 18th annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, which aims to identify the most satisfied owners of new cars. The results are based on the opinions from new vehicle owners on 50 different attributes, which range from interior comfort to fuel economy and performance. This year, AutoPacific gathered 92,000 different responses, resulting in multiple General Motors’ vehicles winning their respective categories.
GMC owners were the most satisfied, with the brand being ranked as the top automaker for a popular brand. The 2014 Sierra full-size pickup and GMC Acadia crossover were also ranked as the top full-size pickup and the top large crossover SUV, respectively.
Chevy owners were rather pleased with their purchases as well. The 2014 Corvette Stingray won the sports car category, while the Camaro won the “sporty car” category. Other bowtie brand appearances on the list include the Sonic and Impala, which both won their respective segments.
