Buick Regal And Ferrari 458 Italia Involved In Collision In China: Video

With a base MSRP of $257, 412, the Ferrari 458 is a very expensive car. And that’s just here in America. In China, where there is a 25 percent import tax on car purchases, a 458 can cost between $632,789 and $723,923. So you can imagine how upset the owner of this 458 might have been after his pricey piece of Italian exotica was involved in an accident with a Buick Regal.

A video of the accidents aftermath shows the 458 with a broken headlight, torn off front fender, badly damaged front bumper and bent wheel. Meanwhile, the Regal has sustained some rear end damage, with the entire rear bumper ripped off, sitting on the ground next to the car.

Check out the video of this unfortunate, very expensive mishap just below.

  3. The Buick Regal is repairable, and it isn’t expensive to do so. I Know because I have a Buick Regal and it was rear-ended by an older Ford Econoline van. The trunk of my Regal was crumpled, and the bumper pushed in. I drove away, but the van had to be towed away because the engine was pushed back, destroying all the engine and transmission mounts, plus all the damage done to the entire front.

In that accident video, the Ferrari went under the Regal, so the damage is at the bumper and rear axle. The Ferrari may be driveable, but those repairs will cost more than a new Regal!
