Cars.com Awards 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, Impala As Best Cars And Trucks For 2014

Cars.com chose the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Impala sedan and Silverado full-size pickup truck as the best car and truck for 2014. The award is presented annually in January during the North American International Auto Show. In total, there were six nominees for each category, and the presenters of the awards look for quality, contemporary designs and value influence.

Patrick Olsen, editor-in-chief of Cars.com, believes Chevy has shown how profound the company is by winning two awards. It’s very difficult to win one considering all the different cars and trucks that enter the automotive industry each year.

“Winning these awards is a huge honor for Chevrolet,” said Alan Batey, General Motors senior vice president of Global Chevrolet. “The fact that the top vehicle in both these categories is a Chevrolet speaks volumes about the strength of our entire portfolio.”

  2. I agree 100% for the Chevy Impala. I rented one with Enterprise at the Fort Lauderdale Airport in October, and I loved it!

  3. Now, if only GM can keep this up (which I have no doubt they will)! I am surprised that the new CTS didn’t win the NACOTY, but the Impala is great too! GM deserves this win and hopefully more people will look into buying from GM. . . .

  4. I think GM could win this award every year if it wasn’t for the politics involved with the process!

  5. 2014 is the year of GM! Outstanding new products across the Chevrolet and Cadillac brands! And the best is yet to come! And yet, I still see room for GM to improve……Can they keep up the momentum? And will they be able to regain sales lost to competitors?
