Chevrolet IndyCar drivers Helio Castroneves and Ed Carpenter, along with Cadillac Racing drivers Andy Pilgrim and Johnny O’Connell, recently took a trip down to General Motors headquarters in Detroit for the 2014 Chevrolet Grand Prix Ticket Sales Kickoff.
Cadillac Racing had a solid weekend at Belle Isle last year, with Johnny O’Connell winning the first of two races, and finishing second in the latter. Chevrolet will be looking for a more promising weekend in 2014 after Honda powered cars took the win in both Izod Indycar Series races in 2013. And in addition to PWC and IndyCar action, the 2014 Belle Isle GP will also host the new Tudor United Sports Car Championship, the series which Corvette Racing competes in.
The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix will be held May 30 to June 1. If you missed Castroneves, Carpenter and the rest of the gang at the ticket kick off, tickets are available for purchase here.
