The Chevy Sonic is the first vehicle in the world to integrate Siri Eyes Free thanks to the Chevy MyLink infotainment system — thereby turning the “voice/speak” button on the Sonic’s steering wheel into the button to end all buttons:
The GM Authority Take
If you haven’t yet, you owe it to yourself to drive a car with Siri Eyes Free — as it’s somewhat mind-boggling what you can accomplish by only using a single button and your voice, all while never touching or looking (away from the road ahead) at your iPhone.
For those curious about the song that serves as the background music… it’s called So It Goes by Opus Orange.

I’d rather have Google Now!
And what about the Opel Adam? The Adam already has Siri Eyes Free.

Yes, the Adam has it as well. But this particular ad is about the Spark’s implementation of the functionality…
Sonic is not the first cars with Siri!
I believe you’re mistaken. The Sonic and Spark are the first cars to integrate Siri Eyes Free, and Chevy was the first brand to announce plans to integrate the functionality.
Do you have information that states otherwise?
I pretty sure the MY14 Holden Cruze with Holden MyLink would have been the first, if not then it would be the VF Commodore which does have it. Watch the VF tv ad.
The Holden VF Commodore definitely has it already, so it was the first GM vehicle unless the MY14 Holden Cruze has it but because they didn’t change the interior or steering wheel it probably doesn’t. Unless this is reporting on old news (IE They have already put it in the car, before the VF).
As to “world’s first”, watch this video at OPEL.TV presenting the Adam with Siri integration.
This Opel Adam video is dated March 5, 2013, while the Sonic video presented here is dated March 25.

Where does it talk about Siri?
They don’t mention it i dont think in the initial reveal but it is in the car, they do mention it in the tv ad:
Can we get a Samuel L Jackson version now that would be worth the money
Who cares if it’s 1st or last? All that matters is does it work? I have tried it out and it’s really kool and works great!
Who cares? Those people who coined this headline: “Chevy Sonic Is The First Vehicle To Integrate Siri”.
It’s always dangerous to make such absolute statements.
