In recent times, automakers worldwide have seen that connectivity within cars plays a large factor in consumer decision-making. Siri, the female “smartphone butler” used by Apple, set the virtual bar for advanced voice commands in cell phones. Now that Siri has been available for some time, it only makes sense that GM would put this technology into a modern, trendsetting model. Naturally, this means the new Chevy Spark, and it’s bigger brother, the Chevy Sonic are perfect candidates.
This announcement is hot off the heels of what’s coming for Cadillac CUE, which includes Siri integration.
In the video below, GM’s MyLink radio global program manager Sara LeBlanc shows how to utilize Siri to keep your hands on the wheel (and shift knob), and your eyes on the road.

So it only works if you have a iPhone pared to the car, I thought it would be fully integrated into the MyLink… GM should put Google Now in their infotainement systems, blows Siri out of the water.
