For the time being, Thomas Sedran holds the position of interim CEO of Opel/Vauxhall. Since it’s supposedly a temporary position for Sedran, the company has been scouting a more permanent replacement to run the company. And while there hasn’t been much to go off of before today, it’s been reported that Volvo CEO Stefan Jacoby could find himself running another automaker to the southwest of his Sweden.
It should be noted that Volvo’s PR people state that Jacoby is “fully occupied” with the automaker’s efforts and “has no plan for leaving his present job,” but that hasn’t stopped the German brand from attempting to recruit him.

Is Volvo doing that well ? If I was the CEO of Volvo I would remind GM that I am from the same country as Saab and tell them to take a hike. 🙂
