ZL1 production debacle aside, the Chevy Camaro is already a great vehicle. And it’s getting even better for the 2013 model year, with new features (MyLink infotainment system with 7-inch color touchscreen, optional navigation, Hill Start Assist) and performance enhancements (1LE performance package plus dual model exhaust availability).
As previously reported, the Imperial Blue Metallic color is gone, seemingly replaced by Blue Ray Metallic. There’s also new 18- and 20-inch wheel designs, a new color of leather called Mojave, and several other goodies, like the frameless and auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (the in-mirror backup camera is gone, since the image will be projected to the MyLink touchscreen display). Rounding out the changes is a new shift knob for models equipped with the stick (thank you!) and electric power steering, which is now standard on the SS. Seems like GM is taking feedback from the press and enthusiasts seriously as it relates to this car; now if only we could get some apps for the track…

Dual Model exhaust??
Nice car but is a 1% car because of the high taxes for performance engines over here.
I thought both V6 and V8 models already have standard dual exhausts. Granted, the duals on the V6 (LS and LT) are smaller than the V6 RS and V8 SS, while the ZL1 has enormous quads!
Please clarify this dual exhaust RPO for 2013. Thanks!!!
@Jbest05 you’re thinking dual exhaust… This is dual mode. Two modes – normal mode and competition mode. Different performance and sound levels, like on the Camaro.
Sorry, like Corvette.
about time on the gps
I want to see the 5.5 D.I V-8 packing 475 hp and 455 lbs torque. GM you respond too slow to upgrade powertrains, on your Vehicles (especially sports cars). GM stop waiting on model changes to upgrade powertrains! By upgrading sooner rather than later you have a chance to dominate the market more convincingly.
What’s up with these sucky colors? HELLO!! No one wants to buy a hotrod with a crap color on it. Get real Chevrolet! Get some bold beautiful colors people will be proud to have. Get rid of these crappy blue colors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is keeping us from buying one.
