We’ve seen numerous videos of Tesla vehicles taking down all-powerful muscle cars, supercars and more. This time, it’s a Chevrolet Camaro turbo that lines up against a Model S electric sedan.
It’s not much of a competition. The Camaro turbo features General Motors 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. It’s unclear what Model S variant lineup to face the Camaro turbo, but the electric sedan is packing at least 302 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque, judging by the car’s older front fascia design.
And the 317 lb-ft of torque is, of course, instant, which propels the electric sedan down the quarter mile in 12.65 seconds at nearly 90 mph. The Camaro turbo clocks a 14.77-second sprint at 93 mph.
Have a look at the action yourself in the video above.
